Change MaxSmoothedFrameRate[citation needed]
Go to configuration file(s) location. Open the AlienBreedEp1Engine.ini file with Notepad or other text editor. Using the Find function (Ctrl+F), search for MaxSmoothedFrameRate. There will be exactly one entry. Change its value to desired frame rate, eg. MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120. Save the file and launch the game.

Go to configuration file(s) location Open the AlienBreedEp1Engine.ini file with Notepad or other text editor. Using the Find function (Ctrl+F), search for bSmoothedFrameRate. There will be exactly one entry. Change it to bSmoothedFrameRate=False. Save the file and launch the game.
