Restore original content to the English version

For the North American release, distributor Hirameki International altered some of the game's graphics in order to reduce the level of gore, graphic violence, and sexual overtones. A modder named Sirrah has created a patch that replaces the modified game graphics with the untouched versions from the original Japanese release.

This patch requires that the game be updated to the latest version.

How to verify that the game is updated to the latest version

The game executable (animaUS_19.exe) should have a filesize of 9,502,292 bytes and a CRC-32 checksum of F9C41F28.
The sys/scriptdata.swf file should have a filesize of 688,127 bytes and a CRC-32 checksum of 1AA44913.

If the executable has a different filename or either of the files has an incorrect CRC, replacement files can be found in an earlier version of the restoration patch hosted on the Animamundi fan site Darkness Eternal.

How to install the restoration patch
Download the patch by Sirrah here. Extract the archive to a new folder and drag the subfolders `bg`, `chr`, and `ev` into the Animamundi installation directory, overwriting the original files when prompted.
