Essential improvements

Backyard Sports Online

Requires ScummVM 2.8.0 or later for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and Raspberry Pi.
One of the features may be unavailable (e.g. coach's statistics, news, and polls) in the new servers.

Disable Online Functionality

This will disable most discontinued online functionalities for the original interpreter, in that case if not using ScummVM.
Removes the DirectPlay legacy component requirement if running on Windows 10 or later if the dummy DPLAYX DLL is applied.
Apply dummy DPLAYX, replace FOOTBALL.U32 with modified version, and delete unneeded files
  1. Download dummy DPLAYX.DLL and put the file into the game directory
  2. Download this modified FOOTBALL.U32 and put in to/replace the old one in the game directory.
  3. If needed, delete BYMAIA.DLL, ROVER.DLL, UPGRADE.DLL, patchw32.dll, RESTART.EXE, football.esk, and football.mmz.

Players stuck at top-left during gameplay

If the FOOTBALL.U32 file is missing and/or the DirectPlay Legacy Component is not installed then you can't play the game at all and players will be stuck there forever.
