Issues unresolved

Ep. 8 infinite loading

To pass Ep. 8 you can't die at the airport area, otherwise will be stuck in an infinite loop and you will be force to restart the full Ep. 8 level.

Issues fixed

BFH.exe in task manager but no game window

Delete settings folder
Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\BFH\ Delete the Settings subfolder. Enabling Borderless fullscreen windowed can case this to happen.

Language error

If you played the game before using a subscription (Origin access/EA Play) you may get the error message: "The Origin account currently logged in does not have access to the installed language for this game. Please uninstall and install the game in an allowed language or log in with a different account and restart your game session".

Remove different game version from the Origin game library
Go to Origin game library Click filter in the upper right corner Check hidden games If a different version of Hardline appears, try to remove it from the library (right-click on it) If it didn't help repair the game

Changing the language

There is no option to change the language once the game is installed

1. Move the game folder
2. Install the game using a different language
3. After Origin starts downloading move the game folder back and restart Origin
4. Origin will only download the missing language pack

You can then change between languages using Registry Editor

1. Open Regedit
2. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\BFH
3. Change Locale value to your preferred language (for example cs_CZ for Czech, en_US for English - check in the game folder at GDFBinary_en_US_64.dll file)

Ep. 8 Stuck in cell

Cap FPS to 3
When the cutscene before you are captured starts, open console (`) Enter the command gametime.maxvariablefps 3 Let everything play out until you exit the cell Enter the command gametime.maxvariablefps 200 to fix your framerate
