The executable needs to be unpacked with Steamless before patching.
  1. Open <path-to-game>\BLUE REFLECTION Second Light.exe with HxD.
  2. On the menu bar, select Search, then Replace. Go to the Hex-values tab and change the Search Direction to All.
  3. Set to search for 48 8D 15 BC 5C C6 00 E8 27 88 ED FF and replace with 48 8D 15 BC 5C C6 00 90 90 90 90 90
  4. Click on Replace all.
  5. Save the file.

Ultra-widescreen

Hex-edit the game executable for ultrawide support[8]
The executable needs to be unpacked with Steamless before patching.
  1. Open <path-to-game>\BLUE REFLECTION Second Light.exe with HxD.
  2. On the menu bar, select Search, then Replace. Go to the Hex-values tab and change the Search Direction to All.
  3. Set to search for 39 8E E3 3F and replace with one of the following hex values that matches the desired resolution:
2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1440 = AB AA 2A 40
3840x1600 = 9A 99 19 40
3840x1620 = 26 B4 17 40
5120x1440 = 39 8E 63 40
5120x2160 = 26 B4 17 40
6880x2880 = 8E E3 18 40
  1. Click on Replace all.
  2. Save the file.
Edit Resolution settings in Setting.ini[9]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Setting.ini in a text editor.
  3. Edit the ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight values under the [Graphics] section with the desired resolution.

Game is stuttering when playing with mouse & keyboard

The game may stutter when no controller is connected.
Connect any controller to the PC.[10][11]

    Tested using a custom resolution of 2560x1080. The games resolution setting of 2560x1080 falsely suggests Ultrawide support. Using it however seems to be 1440p and pillarbox like all the other resolutions.
