Can cause steering problems at higher framerates on some systems.[3]
High traffic density is enabled by default, disable by changing EnableExtraOptions to 0.

Disable main menu music

  2. Open GUNS_AND_ROSES.SNS with a text editor.
  3. Clear content and save the file.

Disable the announcer

Removes the majority of DJ Atomika's (or your regional equivalent) voiceovers from the game.
Replace files

Download Burnout Paradise Remastered - Atomika Disabler and extract the archive to the installation folder, replacing existing files.[7]

To restore the original state use Origin's "repair" function for the game.

The game crashes when trying to access the webcam.[8]
  1. Install BPRmodder
  2. Launch it once and install the "Core bugfixes" mod
  3. Close the installer. Download this modified file and replace the existing file in the mods folder in your game directory.
Uninstall OBS or uninstall OBS Virtualcam[9]
Set dedicated GPU as default[10]
If you have a laptop, make sure the Nvidia control panel is not automatically switching your GPU to your iGPU.
  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Manage 3D settings.
  3. Choose the program settings tab.
  4. Pick Burnout Paradise Remastered.
  5. Choose your preferred graphics card, apply, and then load the game.

Occurs when user has a friend on the Origin Friends List that has 25+ characters in their name. The game does a scan of the Friends List to see whether or not they are playing the game and, upon coming across this name, will crash.
If you have a friend on EA Origin that has a username that's longer than 20 characters, unfriend them.[citation needed]
Start the game while Origin is in offline mode[citation needed]

Occurs if you have Kinect 2* is connected. This either happens during the Loading or during Pause menu if Origin is in Offline mode.

Quality of life content with certain issues in the game being fixed, as well as an easy traffic toggler (F5 key) for use both offline and online (as the host).
Brick Remastered: A mod menu with utilities such as a portable junkyard, unrestricted car paint choice, a speedometer, changing wheels, and things like sped up Junkyard vehicle selection.

    Deleting the file caused the game to crash after intro videos. The same method as in the original version of Burnout Paradise.
