Essential improvements

Patches

The latest official patch 1.01 brings several improvements to gameplay, rendering, AI and documentation, plus bugfixes. It is available here and at soggi.org.
The unofficial 3dfx patch Triglide.dll which is also avaiable at soggi.org adds a 3dfx Glide renderer to the graphics options,[2] which in turn allows using the nGlide wrapper to increase the render resolution.

Skip intro videos

Skip intro videos[1]
  1. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, select "Options".
  2. From the drop-down menu which appears, select "Game".
  3. Uncheck "View Intro Movie".
  4. Uncheck "View Clip Scenes" if you also want to skip videos shown between races.
