This compilation includes eight selected classic titles from the Castlevania series:
- The games are playable in both US and Japanese versions, except for Simon's Quest which is US only.
- Completing the Japanese version of any game doesn't unlock the corresponding achievement.

Change primary playback device shared mode sample rate to 44.1 kHz[3]

- Right click the Speaker icon on your Desktop Taskbar and click "Playback Devices"; Or open Control Panel and click on "Sound".
- Double click the device with the green check mark circle on it ; or Right click "Properties";
- Click on the "Advanced" Tab
- In the drop down box under "Default Format" select the option using your current channel setup with 16-bit, 44100khz.

Slowdowns and choppy sound[4]

Force game to use only one CPU core and set the priority to High
|
- Alt+Tab ↹ out of the game
- Open task manager,
- Select Details tab,
- Find
game.exe
- Right click → Set Affinity... and uncheck all but CPU0 checkbox.
- Right click → Set Priority... set to High.
- Go back into the game
